It's used to synthetize Musk 105, 10-hydroxy-2-decylenic acid (bee-royal acid), the new drug of resistance to senile dementia-Idebenone, and other medicine intermediates etc. It can be put in cosmetics as the sebaceous secrete inhibitor. It can be also used in electric industry.
